    Lion Application Form
  • For the term beginning July 1, 2027 and ending June 30, 2029

    The purpose of the Leo Club Program Advisory Panel is to provide Leo and Lion panelists with an opportunity to represent their respective constituents in matters which affect the Leo Club Program. The panel acts in an advisory capacity with Lions International as it evaluates issues related to the program.

    Applications will be accepted until August 15, 2026. Following the submission deadline, eligible applications will be compiled and provided to the respective district governor or council chairperson for approval of one nominee. Please notify your district governor or council chairperson of your submission to the panel so they know they may be contacted. The Lions International Board of Directors will make the final selection at their October 2026 board meeting. If you have any questions, please email us at leo@lionsclubs.org.

  • Are you currently a Lion member in good standing in an active Lions club?*
  • Do you currently or have you previously served as a district or multiple district Leo chairperson, an officer in your Leo district or multiple district or at least three years as a Leo club advisor?*

    To be eligible for this role, Lions must meet the following criteria:

    • Is a current Lion member in good standing in an active Lions club
    • Have been reported in the Lion Portal as a current or past multiple district or district Leo chairperson, a Leo multiple district or district officer or at least three years as a Leo club advisor
    • Be proficient in English to attend all panel meetings and trainings conducted in English
    • Be able to serve a two-year term

  • Are you able to commit to meeting throughout the year via web conference? This includes monthly panel meetings, as well as multiple committee and constitutional area meetings.*
  • All Leo Advisory Panel communications and meetings will be held in English; resources will be provided in English. Do you feel comfortable speaking, writing and reading English? *
  • Do you speak, write and/or read another language in addition to English?
  • Are you able to attend your Leo or Lions constitutional area forum during the 2028 and 2029 Lion year?
